Job Summary

A healthcare services company is in need of a Remote Inpatient Coding Charge Specialist.

Must be able to:

  • Review medical records for the determination of accurate assignment
  • Review medical records to determine accurate required abstracting elements
  • Stay current with AHA Official Coding and Reporting Guidelines

Required Skills:

  • AHIMA or AAPC approved credential
  • Three to five years’ experience performing medical record coding
  • High school graduate or equivalent is required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree or years of coding experience will be considered
  • Knowledge of MS-DRG classification and reimbursement structures
  • Understanding of appropriate level of care orders
