Job Summary

A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Inpatient Coding Resolution Specialist in Orange Park.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Compiling daily work list from eRequest and CRT
  • Taking action and resolving alerts/edits daily
  • Assigning interim DRGs for in-house patients

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS certification
  • 1 year of acute care hospital inpatient coding experience
  • Coding Technical Skills- ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRGs, APR DRGs
  • Ability to adhere to all applicable coding and billing regulations and guidance
