Job Summary
A hospital and healthcare solutions company is in need of a Remote Inpatient Coding Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for 4 or more specialties for one or more clients, facility, or multiple facilities or clients
- Providing various components of coding services to support our clients
- Performing accurate analysis of medical records to obtain necessary information for the appropriate sequencing and assignment of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. Recognize critical care cases by patient acuity
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be certified through either the AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P)
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Must have advanced working knowledge and experience with systems such as EMR, Billing, etc
