Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Inpatient Medical Coder I.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Code and abstract Inpatient records for data retrieval, analysis, reimbursement and research
- Code and enter diagnostic and procedure codes into the designated coding and abstracting system
Position Requirements Include:
- Minimum of 2 years coding experience
- Demonstrate beginner to intermediate technical coding competency in ICD-10 CM and ICD-10 PCS
- Demonstrated competency of inpatient coding guidelines and DRG assignment
