Job Summary

A clinical documentation services provider has a current position open for a Remote Inpatient Medical Record Auditor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Reviewing assigned ICD10 CM Diagnosis Codes and ICD 10 PCS Procedure Codes
• Reviewing the selected and sequenced principal and secondary diagnosis and procedure codes
• Complying with established facility policies and procedures

Qualifications for this position include:

• High school or GED required
• Graduate of an approved certified coding program required or equivalent experience
• Certification requirements: CCS
• 5 years or more of recent inpatient medical coding experience
• Working knowledge of disease processes, MS-DRG and APC classification and reimbursement structures
