Remote Inpatient Quality Reviewer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Inpatient Quality Reviewer to assess and ensure the accuracy of medical coding and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medical record documentation for coding and abstracting accuracy using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Utilize facility EMR and scanning technology to conduct patient record reviews
- Perform related job duties as assigned by the Quality Review Supervisor
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- US Citizenship
- Must hold one of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, CIC, or COC
- Minimum of 3 years of strong inpatient review or inpatient coding experience
- Willingness to undergo a Federal Background Check process
