Job Summary

A software development company has an open position for a Remote Inpatient Rehab Certified Coding Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Reviewing our clients’ medical records to identify the etiologic diagnosis
• Striving for at least a 97% accuracy rate
• Participating in regular meetings to stay on top of current trends and regulatory changes

Required Skills:

• Certified Coding Specialist Certification (CSC) or Certified Insurance Counselor Certification
• ICD-10-CM coding experience directly applying codes and inpatient rehabilitation prospective payment systems
• An Associate’s Degree in Medical Coding OR at least 5 years of coding experience
• Have an office that provides the privacy needed
