Job Summary

A for-profit health care organization is seeking a Remote Intake Admissions Coordinator in Houston.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-certifications, insurance verifications and is responsible for the data integrity with regard to referral tracking
  • Coordinate final admission approvals that come through communications
  • Gather and collect pertinent clinical information to aid in the insurance approval process

Required Skills:

  • Licensed Clinician required (RN, SLP, OT, or PT)
  • Basic computer knowledge including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word required
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of acute rehab criteria, level of care requirements and medical necessity
  • Understands Medical terminology, regulations and parameters of third party reimbursements
