Job Summary
A consulting company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Interim Orthopedic or GI Endoscopy Specialty Pro fee Coder.
Must be able to:
- Review clinical documentation and diagnostic results
- Extract data and apply appropriate ICD Diagnosis and Procedure codes
- Accurately code conditions and procedures as documented
Skills and Requirements Include:
- CPC Certification from AAPC or CCS- P from AHIMA
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three (3) years of experience in medical coding/reimbursement
- Must have experience in billing and denials
- Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Proficiency with Epic, Charge Capture & Claims Edits
