Job Summary

An e-commerce community and online marketplace has a current position open for a Remote International Customer Experience Senior Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Contribute at all levels of our web application stack, ranging from front-end web interfaces (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to back-end technologies (PHP, MySQL, BigQuery)
  • Provide detailed and constructive design and code reviews
  • Work cross-functionally with various engineering teams and partners in product and design

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience as an engineer in both back-end and front-end coding in PHP & JavaScript or similar codebases
  • Demosntrated customer focus with ability to build with a user in mind and think of infrastructure and services in product terms
  • Proven knack for organization and breaking down large problems into smaller ones
  • Demonstrated strong communicator and are willing to take on a mentoring role with teammates and peers
  • Ability to write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability
  • Ability to gain insights through research, data analysis, and our A/B tests
