Job Summary
An aerospace and defense company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Intranet Backend Developer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Delivering innovative solutions to improve effectiveness, reach, and content of an intranet site
- Working as part of a team that will sustain, expand and improve a Drupal-based site
- Identifying what is best provided by Drupal and its modules and what should be customized
Qualifications for this position include:
- Strong back-end programming skills (PHP, Java)
- Services skills (service design, implementation, scalability)
- Drupal platform skills
- A strong understanding of industry trends
- Understanding of agile methodologies for development and deployment processes that can be used in Drupal-based systems
- Ability to Work collaboratively with the team
