Job Summary

A staffing and recruitment agency is in need of a Remote Java API Developer in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Participate in peer reviews of coding artifacts
  • Implement integrations with important players in the payments business (Rest, SOAP, file exchange)
  • Provide recommendations for improving the code base and the team processes when pertinent

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience (Java, Node.js)
  • Experience working with Financial and Payment Systems such as AFT/EFT/ACH, Interac, Credit Card Processing, and Debit Processing required
  • Strong OOP foundation (Design patterns, SOLID, GRASP)
