Job Summary

An information technology company is filling a position for a Remote Java Senior Software Developer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing code that meets design and architectural requirements and supports system testing
  • Discussing aspects of the design with architects, team leads and business analysts to check understanding and raise concerns
  • Assisting the production support team in defect analysis

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education in a related discipline is desired; equivalent, relevant work experience may be substituted for degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience in building enterprise software
  • Minimum 2 years of high-quality application development, principally with Web or Android programing languages, including HTML 5, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular
  • For Android development, Java development experience a must, Kotlin development experience a plus
  • Experience with application submission to Google Play Store
  • Experience with Jenkins to manage project integrations and deployments
