Job Summary

A non-profit organization is seeking a Remote Junior Media Associate.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Maintain databases of media contacts and supplemental information
• Help secure and coordinate interviews and media outreach opportunities
• Assist in handling incoming requests and inquiries from the media for interviews, statements, information, etc

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience working in a professional environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, editing skills, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to make sound judgments and work both independently and as part of a team
• Interest in animal rights issues and campaigns with a desire to pursue a career in animal rights
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and stay organized
• Professional appearance and adherence to a healthy vegan lifestyle
