Remote Kurdish Arabic Interpreter

Job Summary

Providing audio and video interpretation services remotely, the Independent Contractor International Audio/Video Remote Kurdish and Arabic or Persian Interpreter will facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient community through a web-based platform while adhering to professional standards and protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and maintain confidentiality

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Kurdish and Arabic or Persian
• Proficient in technology, including web-based platforms and Microsoft Word
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
• A quiet and secure interpreting space free from outside noises
