Job Summary
An internet-of-things and firmware security solutions company is in need of a Remote Lead Data Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Leading the day-to-day of management of projects
- Leading the design, building, and optimization of data models, data pipelines, while ensuring data quality
- Proactively documenting your work and share knowledge with the team
Position Requirements Include:
- Strong experience designing and building new data models and data pipelines
- Strong, demonstrated experience building and supporting scalable SaaS products with Python
- Experience with multiple data technologies, such as Spark, Presto, Parquet, Kafka, etc
- Experience working on a cloud-provider-hosted platform (preferably AWS)
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (Postgres), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and multi-model databases
- Experience working on small, fast-paced, teams
