Job Summary

A surgical services provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Lead Medical Coder in Brentwood.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Supporting and contributing to the service excellence mission
• Assisting with ensuring timely, accurate and complete coding of clinical information for all patient visits
• Leading workflow of Inpatient, Outpatient and ASC coding staff

Position Requirements Include:

• Required 3 years of hospital coding experience
• Demonstrated success in coding with consistent accuracy
• One or more of the following Credential(s): RHIA, RHIT, CCS, COC, CPC
• Must have knowledge of hospital information systems
• Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
• All other requirements necessary for this position
