Job Summary

A software development company is filling a position for a Remote Lead Site Reliability Engineer in Portland.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Implementing a control plane for our network load balancer tier
  • Integrating our network tier with our unified build and deploy system
  • Implementing a REST API to provide access to platform functionality

Position Requirements Include:

  • 7+ years of application and system programming experience
  • Experience with multiple languages including Java, C++, Go, or Python
  • Strong Linux, Linux Networking, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery knowledge
  • Troubleshooting in a complex environment and exposure to API design and development
  • Experience using configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Experience with modern container technology (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, DC/OS, Nomad)
