Job Summary

A technology company specializing in solutions for public safety is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Learning and Development Instructional Designer.

Must be able to:

• Own the end to end conception and deliver of training content for an array of stakeholders
• Use instructional design and multi-media skills to design and develop new learning materials including videos, e-learning modules, workbooks, instructor guides, and job aids that will drive organizational learning and results
• Design curriculum for face-to-face and virtual learning sessions using creative, innovative, and evidence-based approaches; develop storyboards for e-learning and videos

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of instructional design experience in software and/or sales
• Industry certifications in instructional design, curriculum development, project management, and content-specific certifications as appropriate (CPLP/CPTD, CPT, PMP, etc)
• Proficiency in e-learning development tools, preferably Adobe Captivate, Articulate Rise and/or Storyline
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems
• Proven superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills
