Job Summary
A financial services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Legal and Compliance Operations Analyst.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Administering first-level support of department technologies and end-users, tracking department finances to budget, and implementing and improving systems and processes
- Collaborating with IT and application vendors to resolve technical issues, complete upgrades and implement customizations
- Reviewing monthly budget reports and tracking expenses to budget.
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3+ years of operations experience in a legal environment
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of legal systems such as matter management, electronic invoicing, contract lifecycle management, and others
- Working knowledge of legal billing protocols and policies
- Familiarity with outside counsel relationships and corporate clients
- Demonstrated understanding of project management, process improvement and change management methodologies
- Ability to research potential vendors, work with others to conduct RFI/RFP process, assist in selection process, provide input for business case, and act as project manager or business analyst for the implementation
