Job Summary
A private, for-profit, online learning institution has a current position open for a Remote Librarian.
Must be able to:
- Work in classrooms as adjunct support.
- Develop a web-based collection and electronic course material selection
- Provide general reference service
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Periodic travel to Charles Town campus and University events required
- Master's degree or better in Library Science
- Professional online library skills with an emphasis on electronic formats
- Ability to interact with students and faculty in a professional and timely manner
- Mastery of online searching and innovative methodologies
- Facility with current online searching methods and emerging web-based applications
