Job Summary

An online marketplace has a current position open for a Remote Linux Senior Security Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Building secure Linux Operating Systems
• Running and configuring a Linux Operating System to keep production systems secure
• Delivering product security features, and delivering automated solutions

Required Skills:

• 5+ years development experience focused on Linux, and at least 4 years as a technical leader
• 4+ years of experience with distributed systems architecture and related technologies
• 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language
• 3+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of security engineering, system and network security
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
