Job Summary
A recruiting and staffing agency has an open position for a Remote Linux System Administrator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the build of custom AMIs with various scientific software stacks,
- Scripting with a tool like Ansible / Bash scripts
- Supporting the builds initially and eventually starting to take ownership of our client's ever increasingly complicated set of build pipelines
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to work remotely
- Experience with systems adminstrator activities
- Ability to take instruction manual for how to configure specific software and figure out how to stand it up, configure it, and harden it
- Experince with scripting
- Some cloud experience (AWS)
- Ability or willingness to work in Docker and Kubernetes
