A risk management company is filling a position for a Remote Lost Time Claims Specialist in Glen Allen.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Analyzing and processing workers’ compensation claims by investigating and gathering information
- Negotiating settlement of claims up to designated authority level and makes claims payments
- Processing complex or technically difficult claims
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 3-5 years claims management experience
- In depth knowledge of appropriate insurance principles and laws for workers’ compensation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and interpretive skills
- PC literate
