Job Summary
A software development company is filling a position for a Remote Machine Learning and Computer Vision Staff Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building the backend or edge infrastructure to scale our training and inference workload
- Building and improving the accuracy of ML/CV models
- Shaping the company's big data into features for ML/CV models
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience building performant, distributed training and inference pipelines on very large datasets
- 6+ years experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role
- Comfortable with full-stack / backend development code to build a strong understanding of underlying data structures
- Experience building and deploying large-scale machine learning models with feedback loops for continuous improvement
- Strong proficiency in common languages (e.g., Python, SQL) and tools in the ML toolkit
