Job Summary
A software company has a current position open for a Remote Machine Learning Data Scientist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Prototyping new data science models using statistics, machine learning, and operations research to drive business value
- Prototyping and deploying new data science models and collaborate with the Engineering team to integrate these capabilities into our platform
- Continually learning about new models and technologies to grow your career and solve new problems
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Have an advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Economic
- Have a solid fundamental understanding of statistics and machine learning and are eager to learn more
- Have solid coding and software design skills and experience collaborating within a shared codebase.
- Have experience building and deploying machine learning models, particularly recommendation system
- Excel at communicating technical concepts to stakeholders with both technical and non-technical backgrounds
- Enjoy multitasking on multiple projects, helping team members, and engaging with the business to identify new opportunities
