Job Summary

A manufacturing services company is in need of a Remote Machinery and Automation Safety Subject Matter Expert.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Review, update, develop and/or implement Machinery / Automation Safety standards
• Provide interpretation of technical Machinery / Automation Safety matters
• Develop and maintain training content on specific technical guidelines

Qualifications Include:

• Thorough knowledge of Functional Safety standards, as related to machinery safety
• Superior knowledge of Machinery / Automation Safety regulatory and best practice requirements
• In-depth knowledge of concept of Safety through Design
• Experience conducting machinery risk analyses, including associated risk reduction processes
• Experience leading machinery/robot systems installation/implementation/integration teams
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Safety Science/Engineering/Management or related engineering or science discipline
