Job Summary
A manufacturing company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Managed Care Billing Specialist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing and submitting claims to third-party insurance carriers electronically via Waystar or individual payer portals
- Following up with third-party insurance carriers on unpaid or denied claims until full resolution
- Keeping updated on all billing and benefit changes for third-party insurance carriers
Qualifications for this position include:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of medical/insurance billing experience
- Knowledge of medical billing practices
- Knowledge of business office procedures
- Must be well organized and able to multitask efficiently
- Proficient in MS Office and have good computer skills
