Job Summary

An insurance distribution company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Managing General Agent Assistant Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Enter new and renewal business submissions in processing system for clearance
• Print documents to paper-less application for document retention and file maintenance
• Build productive and positive relationships

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Experience in the property/casualty insurance industry
• Familiarity with underwriting practices, procedures, and concepts
• Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Experience in standard underwriting practices and procedures
• Professional telephone etiquette and excellent oral and written communication skills
