Job Summary

A distributor of specialty building materials needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Market Buyer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Purchass for multiple locations and business divisions in purchasing market
• Utilize inventory and stock status reports and coordinate with purchasing supervisor
• Conduct meetings with vendors, obtains quotations, negotiates prices and delivery dates

Required Skills:

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. on a random basis
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year purchasing, inventory control or materials input or warehousing experience
• Special skills required— Experience with MS Office products including Word and Excel
