Job Summary

A financial services company is seeking a Remote Market Data Senior Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing and developing new services, unit tests, and automation tools
  • Driving innovation, technical thought leader, and mentor to engineers as applicable
  • Maintaining and improving existing systems and applications with a focus on optimizing both systems and workflows

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Mathematics or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Mastery of 1 or more modern general-purpose programming languages, such as C++ or C#
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation
  • Knowledgeable about multi-threading, inter-process communications and event handling
  • Experience as a lead developer, making design decisions, performing code reviews and mentoring team members
