Job Summary

A patent and trademark service company has an open position for a Remote Mechanical Patent Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Understanding invention /patent / product disclosures in their technical area
• Implementing effective search strategies
• Completing a search report

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Patent search or research experience – i.e., familiarities with search engines
• Understanding of technical disclosures
• Problem solving skills in constructing and conducting patent searches using various search engines
• Critical thinking skills to analyze found results and completing a search report
• Self-motivated to work effectively and efficiently
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
