Job Summary

A healthcare supply company is seeking a Remote Medical Billing Pre Authorization Representative.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Obtain current authorizations from insurance companies, patients and physicians
  • Provide back-up assistance to the Billing Approval
  • Make outbound calls to insurance companies, patients and physicians

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • High School diploma and one year medical insurance verification related experience or equivalent
  • One year of customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer literacy
  • Knowledge of government and commercial insurance payers
  • Ability to understand Medical Records documents
  • Position may require evening and weekend availability
