Job Summary

An educational institution is seeking a Remote Coder III.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Perform in depth complex daily coding of inpatient, outpatient and global package delivery services
• Abstract CPT, HCPCS, ICD9, ICD10, and Modifiers as appropriate per clinical documentation
• Query and provide feedback to providers and other clinical department personnel

Required Skills:

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), CCS, RHIT or RHIA
• Three years of comparable coding experience in Urgent Care coding
• Strong skills in CPT, ICD-9/ICD-10, & HCPC coding applications
• Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) 3M experience
• Epic experience
• Experience coding/billing Medi-Cal
