Job Summary

A business process solutions, operations management, and analytics consulting company is seeking a Remote Medical Coding Outpatient APC Subject Matter Expert.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Performing random and focused quality assurance audits
• Providing daily support and direction of program activities
• Ensuring all facilities disputes are reviewed and effectively addressed

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 10 plus years' experience with outpatient auditing/coding
• Expert knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines
• RHIT - Registered Health Information Technologist
• Experience with encoder tools (TrueCode, 3M, Webstrat, Pricers)
• CCS-P- Certified Coding Specialist Physician, CPC - Certified Procedural Coder. Noteworthy CCS - Certified Coding Specialist
• Experience with need programs such as: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
