Job Summary
An insurance agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Medical Only Claims Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Receive claims, confirm policy coverage and acknowledgement of the claim
- Determine the validity and compensability of the claim
- Establish reserves and authorize payments within established reserving authority limits
Position Requirements Include:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn rapidly to develop knowledge and understanding of claims practice
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience
- Minimum of 1 year industry experience and claim handling
- Licensed as required jurisdictionally
