Job Summary
A healthcare provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Patient Care Advocate in Winter Park.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Acting as a vital connector and communicator between the consumer, provider and staff
- Empathetically and effectively managing patient comments, concerns, and requests
- Ensuring complete resolution to consumer questions or concerns
Qualifications for this position include:
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- 1 year in a healthcare environment and/or two years of experience in customer service or related experience
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Customer service experience within a digital environment
- Basic knowledge of navigation in a patient electronic medical record i.e. Athenanet
- Healthcare knowledge to provide effective and appropriate support to patients
