Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Medicare Physician Insurance Specialist III.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Acting as a knowledge resource for team members
- Demonstrating advanced understanding of commercial and Medicaid payers
- Ensuring all accounts are worked within client standards and Federal Regulations
Position Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma; additional equivalent experience may substitute for the required level of education
- 3 to 5 years’ accounts receivable and billing experience in a physician and/or hospital environment
- Medicare AR/Billing Experience
- Experience working with Medicare’s DDE/FISS system
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiar with widely used patient accounting software
