Job Summary

An online education company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Middle School Math Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Take ownership for students’ academic progress and attendance, communicating high expectations
  • Prepare students for high stakes standardized tests
  • Conduct live synchronous teaching

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Ability to travel to testing sites to proctor state exams
  • Bachelor's degree; AND 6 months of student teaching experience
  • Ability to meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher in subject area under No Child Left Behind
  • Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught
  • Appropriate New Mexico teaching certification
  • Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in company systems
