Job Summary

An online education company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Middle School Math Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Take ownership for students’ academic progress and attendance, communicating high expectations
Prepare students for high stakes standardized tests
Conduct live synchronous teaching

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

Ability to travel to testing sites to proctor state exams
Bachelor's degree; AND 6 months of student teaching experience
Ability to meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher in subject area under No Child Left Behind
Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught
Appropriate New Mexico teaching certification
Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in company systems
