Job Summary
An online education company has an open position for a Remote Middle School Social Studies Teacher in Athens.
Must be able to:
- Attend local and state provided professional development trainings
- Complete all grading, create progress reports and conduct parent conferences
- Support the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Willingness to travel on occasion
- Appropriately Certified to teach Social Studies for middle school in Alabama
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
- Team player track record
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
- High degree of flexibility
