Job Summary
A military assistance organization has a current position open for a Remote Military Special Finance Projects Manager in Arlington.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Conducting Finance due diligence review associated with merger activities with chartered centers
- Preparing journal entries, review accounting records for compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Assisting in implementing financial automation processes
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5+ years in a public accounting and/or internal audit role, with 1+ years in a supervisory capacity
- In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment related to controversial and/or culturally sensitive subjects
- Strong knowledge of business functions, including project management and budgeting
