Job Summary

A mortgage financing company is filling a position for a Remote Mortgage Loan Underwriter.

Must be able to:

  • Verify and analyze all necessary financial information and documentation
  • Ensure that loan files contain all necessary credit and legal documents
  • Review appraisal reports to identify and resolve any discrepancies discovered within

Qualifications Include:

  • Must be able to underwrite VA, FHA & Conventional mortgage loans
  • 4+ years of underwriting FNMA, FHLMC, and Non-Conforming mortgages loans
  • CHUMS, LAPP & SAR Certification
  • Knowledge of Desktop Underwriter & Loan Prospector/Loan Product Advisor
  • Categorical understanding of the mortgage lending process
  • Ability to carry out requisite loan calculations (DTI, LTV, etc.)
