Job Summary

A financial services firm is in need of a Remote Mortgage Loan Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for underwriting 2-3 new loans per day while minimizing any risk to the company
  • Responsible for clearing UTC conditions within 24 hours
  • Responsible for preparing loans for risk committee

Qualifications Include:

  • Attend appropriate seminars, live and recorded courses
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as an Underwriter
  • Must be able to provide training support to sales force as needed
  • Experience with FHA/ VA/ USDA/ Agency loans
  • Must have complete knowledge of the mortgage business
  • Must have experience with Direct Endorsement (DE) and LAPP/ SAR
