A staffing company has a current position open for a Remote Mortgage Loan Underwriter in Houston.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Completing mortgage underwriting
- Using mortgage underwriting software
- Analyzing credit, layered risk, and income
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 3+ years’ experience in mortgage underwriting
- Ability to underwrite loans at a national level and in all markets
- Experience with Desktop Underwriter (DU) or comparable automated underwriting
- In-depth understanding of Mortgage Originations systems
- Advanced analysis skills in the areas of credit, layered risk, and income
