Job Summary

A staffing agency that assists with placement in a wide range of industries is in need of a Remote Mortgage Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct interviews and verify eligibility for providing loan services
• Assist branch employees with lending decisions and proper documentation
• Determine if loan requests should be approved or denied

Required Skills:

• High School diploma with some additional coursework, certifications, and/or lending training
• Must be able to meet the qualifications necessary to be registered with the NMLS
• 3-5 years credit union or financial industry experience
• Knowledge of lending laws and regulations.
• Complete mandatory Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and Red Flag Identity Theft training yearly
