Job Summary
A staffing and recruitment firm is seeking a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Grapevine.
Must be able to:
- Review loans to ensure the company’s guidelines are met and quality is upheld
- Provide superior customer service, while being flexible and approachable
- Review and calculate ALL income types, including complicated tax returns
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Five plus years of Mortgage Underwriting experience
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be a quick learner and have a willingness to acquire new skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations
- Ability to consult with, Underwriting Manager / Regional Underwriting Manager, and all internal and external counter-parties
