A recruiting agency is seeking a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Roanoke.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for underwriting Conventional, FHA, USDA and VA loans following established Company, agency and investor guidelines
  • Evaluate mortgage loan files and assess risk based on compliance, agency, investor, and Company guidelines to ensure salability with minimal loss

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience underwriting Conventional, FHA, USDA and VA loans
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
  • Experience with completing thorough analysis of mortgage loan files to determine compliance with guidelines
  • Ability to make and issue independent compliant loan decisions
