Job Summary

A staffing company has an open position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Seattle.

Must be able to:

  • Review loan files for completeness and accuracy
  • Evaluate debt and loan-to-value ratios
  • Determine and document loan conditions

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 4+ years of recent underwriting and/or due diligence (post-close) experience IN
  • The residential mortgage industry
  • Knowledge and familiarity with current mortgage policies/procedures, compliance laws AND
  • Regulations-including TRID-and understanding of mortgage regulatory changes
  • Working knowledge of AUS to determine applicable loan conditions
