Job Summary
A media company has an open position for a Remote Nation and World News Module Editor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Editing stories for length and accuracy, writing headlines and selecting photographs for use
- Being responsible for the production of nightly pages and the syndication of both print and digital wire content
- Choosing stories from a budget of content from wire sources
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must have excellent news judgment
- Strong editing andtechnical skills
- Ability to work independently on deadline
- Must have a zeal for news and a strong command of the English language
- Excellent command of grammar and AP Style guidelines
