A network communications company has an open position for a Remote Network Engineer I in Syracuse.

• Troubleshooting network issues within established guidelines
• Configuring various network devices and services
• Preparing periodic maintenance plans and complying with change management procedures

Position Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
• 2+ years equivalent experience
• Knowledge of internet, computer, routers, switches, firewall, etc
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
